Credentialed ministers who serve as faculty members, adjunct professors, or administrators/staff at the Director level or above and/or whose position requires the execution of sacerdotal duties, may request a portion of their salary be designated as housing allowance. Allowances may be renewed on an annual basis. Please submit the following form to the VPBF Office.
Certificates of Insurance
When members of the University conduct business or participate in off-campus activities, vendors and venues often request proof of VU’s general liability coverage. In such cases, VU’s insurance provider issues a certificate of insurance to that vendor/venue. Please submit the following form to the VPBF Office.
If an off-campus group/business is using VU facilities, VU must request a certificate of insurance from them. The following provides instructions on requesting a certificate. Please forward all certificates received to the VPBF Office.
Driver Authorizations
Members of the Vanguard community may be authorized to drive University vehicles or vehicles rented by the University. The person must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license. Authorizations take approximately a week to process so please plan accordingly. Authorizations expire each year on October 1st and may be renewed. Persons seeking authorization must complete the following Request Form, view the “Ultimate Driving Challenge” training video, and take the Written Test. The Form and Test should be submitted to the VPBF Office.
Incidents
In the event of an injury, property damage, theft or other incident, please complete a Campus Public Safety Incident Form or contact Campus Public Safety to take a report. All reports should be submitted to the Campus Public Safety Department. Any necessary action will be handled by the appropriate office.
